# ScreenplayOS Creator Early Access

Version 0.1.5, build 28. Early Access beta, not paid Creator 1.0.

This build supports a local screenplay-to-timed-boards workflow across Outline, Script, Shot, Boards and Edit. Create and edit screenplay text, add local board images, save and reopen projects, lock pages and export screenplay PDFs. The first local board image can now be imported into a newly saved project's empty board.

Projects remain local and user-owned. The supported core workflow requires no ScreenplayOS account or paid activation. Keep backups of the native project and its referenced media. Optional provider-backed features are separate from this local workflow.

New Creator documents use the approved `creator-1.0` pagination profile. Existing documents and locks with no profile identifier remain `legacy-v1`; this build does not silently migrate them. Creator layout uses Letter paper, Courier and 12-point text.

The accepted Action-heavy, Dialogue-heavy and Defenders references align at 18, 20 and 15 script pages, respectively, including all 53 reference page endings. Defenders retains accepted within-page wrapping differences. This is a documented compatibility boundary, not universal Final Draft pagination parity. Calibration was not repeated for this packaging pass.

PDF export uses the document's selected pagination profile. Final Draft FDX interchange covers the supported screenplay subset; it does not transfer native page locks, notes, shots, boards, edit relationships, Takes or native extension data. Creator-profile native projects require a Creator-capable reader. Do not assume an older build with the same version number can read them.

This artifact is for Apple Silicon (`arm64`) Macs and declares macOS 13.0 as its minimum. It is not an Intel or universal build. See the release manifest for the exact artifact hash, signing and notarization results, and tested host.

No one-project trial, recurring subscription or perpetual fallback is offered by this Early Access build. Studio, collaboration and future generation capabilities are not available release features. EDL and FCPXML are timing guides with placeholders; this release does not claim verified opening in every editing application or rendered-movie export.
